Hi Just just wondering if anyone else has the same problem and what the solution is ? Both myself and my hubby have 02 pay and go phones basic ones for texting and calling. Over the past few months we have been experiencing problems with the signal on our phones dropping down then up and so on
This means that family members cant ring us half the time or if we ring them the call drops and disconnects . Texting seems to be ok
We have tried a new sim 02 3g and also taken the sim out cleaned it and replaced it back
Our son also has 02 and he can not get a signal at out house either ?
Really puzzled as we have been with 02 for years and lived ayt the same address for years ! Any answers appreciated please .
Apologies for the long post
thank you

What phones do you have then I can explain or point you in the right direction on turning 3g off.
on the status page there are 3 bar graphs one for 2g one for 3g and one for 3g 900
if the 2g is 5 bars that is ok but what is shown for the other 2?

can you send me a pm with postcode so I can see the page here.
But on 2g the signal should stay constant on 3g the signal can fluctuate in strenght as on 3g the cell size gets smaller the more people that use it.

Ok checked the postcode you look like you are close to the edge of indoor 3g this could be the problem.
I do not know my way around nokias you could post in the nokia thread asking for help turning 3g off to see if that helps .
