I have been on a 5GB data package since joining O2 and on checking my usage for the last 2 years I saw I have regularly used less than 3GB each month so i decided to downgrade to a 3GB package. In my first month on the new deal I have used up all my data with 2 weeks still to go!! There has bene no material change in the way i use my phone and I have not been abroad. Has this happened to anyone else?

I have the same issue with downsizing tariff.
I was on a 5GB per month tariff but only using average 600MB per month so changed this week to a 1GB tariff. Less than 6 days into the new tariff I have apparently already used all 1GB of this months allowance. Have checked settings on my phone and there is nothing different to pre-tariff change so can only assume either O2 have never been reporting correct monthly usage stats or I have suddenly started to use lots of data (which I am not!).
