Hello. I have a PAYG £10 big bundle package. I am travelling to Jersey next week for 5 days & have recently discovered that under O2 Jersey is in neither UK nor Europe. I have the O2 travel optout Bolt On (included automatically, I think) which gives me calls at 4p/min, texts at 1p, & data at 4p/min when I am in Jersey. This sounds OK but I am more than likely to be using my phone for data and I'm not really sure what the free Wi-Fi is like & how much I'll need. (e.g What's App, tracking my location & finding my way around, etc).
Does anyone know what happens if I turn off the Bolt On? I don't want to risk it without guidance. I wondered if it would immediately give me the O2 Travel Bolt On which gives me 100mb of data at £1.99/day.
My alternative is buying a Jersey Telecom sim on arrival at £5/month with 5gb data and putting it into my 2nd sim slot....but I've seen earlier posts which suggests that using 2 sims causes problems.
Thanks in anticipation

It's only using O2 eSIMs with other SIM cards that sometimes causes problems.
The Jersey Telecom route would be your best bet for what you want

Just to be clear Jersey is not part of the UK, or part of Europe they are a A self-governing dependency of the United Kingdom and has its own laws etc...
Always surprises me when people dont know this.. The same applies to all the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man

Thank you for pointing out my ignorance but you are not offering a solution to the problem.
