I appreciate that costs are increasing for everyone, however, I think that a 22.5% increase in the Sim only tariff is rather excessive. I have tried to use the Online Chat facility to ask a question, however, that feature appears to be non operational at the moment. Can anyone throw any light on these issues, please?

Perhaps look at this thread at the bottom of this post. The rise was well publicised and customers were informed after which they could leave penalty free
Too late now.
If you are out of contract you can leave or maybe look at USwitch to upgrade
