@CATG13 - from O2 Switch up FAQs:

To do our bit for the planet, we take back your old phone and refurbish it, wiping any data before we sell it on to someone as one of our Like New phones.

@CATG13

You should wipe all data yourself before handing over the phone.

It won't be possible for O2 to do it if you had an iPhone as you will need to sign out of your Apple account - only you can do this.

You should return to the store to do it asap.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Im sorry @CATG13  but in what way is this an o2 data breach??

Sorry but this is user error, as common sense tells you as do the instruction as pointed out to wipe the device, and when I have done switchups, the last thing that I do is wipe the device in front of the staff in store.

If you havent removed your Apple ID, from the phone you may end up with a bill from o2..

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company
