I am charging my phone after several months of not using it. Turned on the phone to find there is no coverage.
Please confirm that I still have access to my account as I still need to use this phone even though I have another.

You need to contact O2.
Message them on Social Media. Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (X) (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or give them a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (contract) 4445 or 0344 8090222 (PAYG)
If PAYG it will have been disconnected if not used for 6 months.

Yes.
They will reconnect you first then reinstate the credit, usually after 24 hours @Gibby1968
