Hi i have been waiting for my number to port across from Tesco to o2 since 21st march 2025. Tesco have confirmed the code has been used and the number is no longer active and requires that o2 active the number. I have called everyday and heard a different excuse.

tesco have deactivated your number and need to reactive
we can raise a complaint
we can escalate
it takes 4- 5 days.
So far, 20 calls, two emails (that were closed as its not PAYG) its still outstanding. Customer service just read the notes wrote from the back office and they are vague at best. i cannot speak to anyone direct in the back office.
im starting to think my number i have had for 20 odd years is now lost. someone please help me. im getting absolutely nowhere with customer service. i cant even send it back to tesco to start again. WHAT DO I ACTUALLY DO
