Why have I been sent a new SIM?

I have an iPhone SE, working satisfactorily and has been since new about three years ago (now running IOS 18.1.1). Gets 5G where available.

 

O2 has sent me, unrequested, a new SIM, and the accompanying leaflet seems to suggest that I might be a new customer. What's going on?
