Signal strength comes and goes

So on Thursday I changed my Internet provider from Sky to EE, and ever since then I've noticed my phone signal is near non-existent.

If my phone is in the same place it's always been in, I now only have one bar of signal strength, but outside of my house I've got full signal. It also means I'm getting WhatsApp messages late and - in some cases - no notifications.

I've checked the status server and my area appears to be absolutely fine. Would a signal booster help with this? I need to get a WiFi booster from EE as my WiFi completely disappears when upstairs, but I don't know what the problem is. I've tried restarting my phone numerous times, and the signal always comes back strong - but always then goes back to either one or two bars.

For clarification, I've got an iPhone 12. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@adamo91292

Switch off the wifi router and see if the signal comes back.

If not, it's just coincidence.
