Getting calls about O2 SIM Swap even though i have an O2 R15 SIM (Feb 2025)

For the last 2 weeks, I have been getting calls claiming to be from Virgin Media from a 01756-634-125 number and that i need a new SIM swap even though i have a new O2 R15 SIM for O2's 5G Standalone SA network way back in August 2024. Also seems like im not the only one that is claiming to be from Virgin Media

So, Can someone from either Virgin Media/O2/VMO2 confirm that 01756 634 125 is a genuine phone number before reporting this to Ofcom https://www.ofcom.org.uk/phones-and-broadband/scam-calls-and-messages/7726-reporting-scam-texts-and-...

It's a well known scam.

Forward the scam number to 7726 - It's free.
