I need to reset my son's phone.  He currently has an eSim.  When I do it, will the eSim be wiped and if so, how can I get a new one quickly?

@MalK

You should be given the option to either erase or keep the esim.

If not and it does erase it, you can use the old sim pack QR code, install it in your MyO2 or go in store with photo ID.

Thanks.  I am trying to do this reset now, I was thinking maybe I can transfer it to my other phone and have it set to idle while resetting the phone, then transfer it back, but no idea yet if that is possible

The joys of eSIMs (especially on O2)

If you don’t absolutely need one, don't get one and if possible swap back to plastic in store (take photo ID)

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

As it's not a number change, phone change or a sim swap, it will all be straight forward.
