Hey, so I upgraded to a new iPhone this week and during the migration from my old phone, it gave me the option to move to an eSIM. This was all on Wednesday night and the eSIM is still not activated. I can't access My O2 or reach the support team via the app because I can't receive the text messages to confirm it's me.
I have called O2 support and have been told to basically sit tight and wait for another 24/48 working hours... which could be another week!!
Is this normal? Will going into an O2 store help?
Can anyone shed some light on this, please?

Quite normal with O2 eSIMs. You will find folk here do not recommend them.
The eSIM needs installing via MyO2 which you can't access.
Your best bet is to call into an O2 store with photo ID. Probably best going back to plastic

Exact same issue here with both mine and my husbands eSIMs. Passed from pillar to post and no further forward without a working phone between us
