Dear O2 Team,
I have full 4G cover, mobile data and can call anyone I like. However, some people are not able to contact me.
I have had this 2 times before and it got resolved. The engineer said that my "files dropped" and he fixed it within minutes. However, I can not get through to your technical departments anymore and all I get is switch the mobile on and off.
Solved! Go to Solution.

This is not customer services, and I have never heard of that error message, sounds like someone making up a term to appease a customer.
You can contact Customer Services on 0344 809 0202 or via Live Chat or If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Have you recently moved across from another provider @Mof such as EE or Vodafone?
It might be that the number port has either not complete or has split - both of which need resolving by customer services.
Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).
Link to our guide on how to contact them can be found here

I ported the number from Vodafone in 2016, then I had the issue in 2017, which got resolved in 2017, then it happened again in 2019 and in 2020, again got resolved and now it happened again.
The cause was porting the files from Vodafone.
But it got resolved by talking to their technical team, rather just the customer service team.
