I have recently nought a new SIM for my sons phone. While the wifi and all other settings seem to be working correctly and my son has an allowance of 10GB of data which is showing on his account. He has not data and cannot access the internet. When checking on the SIM status we are gettng a message that the mobile data sim status is not connected. I am not sure what we need to do the action this?
Any advice welcome - thanks

Have you firstly done a sim swap from your old sim card?

APN settings should load automatically from the active sim card, but If you need them the O2 APN settings are HERE

1st thing to try is a simple reboot of the phone. (turn off and back on again)
Then, text the word ACTIVE to 2020 and save the settings that get sent back.
Also, check if there are any network issues in your area O2 Service Status
