Changed my phone on a sim only contract

Hi,

 

I have an O2 sim only contract but i have just changed my phone from an Oppo to a Pixel 7, everything seemed to go well except it says there is no 5g or mobile data, do i need a new sim card to go with the Pixel phone?

If 5G was working on your previous phone then it should work OK

Make sure that battery saver is not switched on in the Pixel as it switches 5G off to conserve power

Also make sure that 5G is selected in Preferred Network Type.

Also be in an area where you know 5G works

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

thanks, i tried using live chat but got nowhere and then the help page said to come here, i guess that help was no help either grin
