I am trying to upgrade my pay monthly contract (device and airtime) and the total monthly price appears to be significantly higher than is should be. I can see the individual device (£19.42) and airtime costs (£20.99) add up but O2 aren't showing the additional cost in the breakdown so I'm not sure why I am paying more (£56.96)?

Carryover of your earlier contract, @Mark_Scrimshaw - as O2 bill 14 days in advance, and you may have adjustments that are partial charges etc - should sort itself out for next month. Guide: Upgrading Your O2 Phone
