You'll need to call customer service.
Numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
Or advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
When it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.

If your phone is working properly then I wouldn't worry too much about what your MY O2 is displaying as yet. That takes some time to catch up.
An upgrade is usually immediate, however the info in My O2 is slow to update particularly over the Christmas period.
If you have any concerns at all then call O2. All numbers in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

O2 don't lock phones so any sim will work in it, always.
You need to call as I advised already to check the new sim card as it may be faulty.
