I have a £5 spend cap with o2 to stop me going over my allowance. I have looked into my o2 account and this says it’s still active. I have just received a text from O2 saying I have hit my £51.50/50mb allowance. If there’s a £5 spend cap in place why are they saying I owe £51.50?

If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.

If you havent been migrated to the new billing systems then Roaming doesnt count towards your Spend Cap.

Thank you so so much for your reply. How do I know if I have been upgraded to the new billing system? When did this take place? I thought all of that would be automatic from o2?  I am travelling and want to get this sorted so it doesn’t happen again.
