Hoping someone can shed light, if I return an upgrade in store, how long before it allows me to upgrade again?

You can upgrade near enough straight away, but as @Enlli says you will be subject to new credit and affordability checks, as you are taking out a regulated product..
Best thing to do is ask the store..

Did you upgrade in store originally? If you upgrade in store then you have to return in store. If online it has to be done online.
Returns have to be within 14 days of signing up.
Not sure how long before you can upgrade again but as there are credit checks even for upgrades that might come into play.

So went in and tried the upgrade and they got the red screen stating maximum number of contracts, despite me wanting to mirror what I had 10 mins earlier. After an hour on phone to O2 and not understanding they said try again in 3 months. So 3 months with no phone and paying airtime, so got PAC code and Vodafone handset and SIM arriving tomorrow. As the other connections becomes eligible to leave I'll move them across to Vodafone too.

Best way to go... as o2's systems are pile of poo at the moment...
Saying that Vodafones are not much better...

So another update... thought I would give the upgrade one more attempt this morning as it never done the credit check etc so nothing affecting my file previous... and it went through without a problem. May the glitch was in the backend system. So gonna return the Vodafone device and sim and stick with O2 as the Switchup is an incentive that the other networks dont offer.
