Old phone number not transferred to o2

Hello,I recently purchased a new iPhone and plan through O2. I transferred my old number to switch to O2. However, after receiving my new SIM card and iPhone, I appear to have been assigned a new phone number instead of having my old one transferred.

This is a customer to customer community, not O2, so we cannot access your account, sorry.

You need to contact O2.
