Notice of enforcement

Anonymous
Not applicable
Literally help, I have always been good paying my o2 contract as I've always been paid weekly yet in Febuary I got switched to monthly pay which I didn't get paid for a month and a half and when I did I only got paid very minimum as trade in Febuary is terrible so there are no hours at work. I missed two payments because of how little money I had and was going to pay it this month when I got a really good pay as I've been working none stop so I could my overdues. I hadn't notified o2 of this because I didn't want to stress over it I just told myself it's okay I can pay it next month. But today I got a letter 'notice of enforcement' that tells me that I am having my contract terminated and that I have to pay the full balance which is around £1000, lets bare in mind I get paid only £900 odd a month which has to go on other bills and rent. I have never been so stressed in my life. Do you think o2 would let me pay instalments rather than it all up front or will they just demand the money flat out 😞

You should have called o2 back in Jan when you knew about a change in your circumstances.
Just hiding from it doesn't help so you need to call 202 now and explain immediately what's happened and ask for a payment plan and reconnection.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

yeah, as MI5 said if you make arrangements you don't have to lose your number / look for new provider. Head in sand is not a good game plan for anything in life. I am finding this out the hard way (cheating wife, but that's a whole different story ha) Best of luck.

O2 are quite understanding and they will let you sort the overdue payments out without the full payment but you do need to call and sort it. you can say goodbye to any chance of credit with any company until you sort this out.

@Anonymous You need to call customer service asap to try and rectify this or it will only get worse. Apart from O2 demanding payment you will also have a marker put on your credit rating, which may already have happened. If it has, you won't get another mobile phone contract, or credit for anything else for six years. If you can't call now, call first thing in the morning. It's normally easier to get through then. Do not try to resolve this on Live Chat. Call.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Really hope you've called O2 on 202 as you've been told in other replies. Would be nice to hear that you've sorted something out though, if you would like to update this thread it'll help others in your situation @Anonymous
