New Sim Card

I have recently applied to move from PAYG to pay monthly and have ordered a new SIM card. 
Over two weeks and I’m still waiting. 
Is this a normal time to wait? 
I note that the order has yet to be processed.

It should have been processed and dispatched by now

But the Royal Mail strikes could be a reason for the delay

I,ve been waiting 20 days had 2 sims sent out. The first sim eventually today. I have no idea why they bother putting tracking numbers in, Royal Mail doesn’t recognise them until the sim arrived!

Royal Mail Postal Strikes have affected a lot of things - as an example, 2 letters sent the same day from an EU country on 02-Dec-2022: 1 arrived on 16-Dec-2022, the other arrived on 04-Jan-2023.

Items ordered from a UK-based supplier on 17-Nov-2022 did not get here until 22-Dec-2022.
