4G signal strength = 3 bars
Download speed = 1.2 Mbps
Upload speed = 6.8 Mbps
Response speed = 126 ms

Am I the only one that get's this kind of 4G performance? & why would the upload speed test much lower than the download?

Browsing is slow & clunky & eg. average sized app downloads from Google Play are slow to download.

I'm using an S9 on pay monthly. Used to get 30-60 Mbps on my previous network.

O2 just reference a mast in my local area being down but it has been reported that way for what must be over a month now.

You could always download My network app and report it through that.

https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/my-network

There's also a community guide on network issues here. It may give you some pointers.

You may just have to be patient though, as annoying as that is..:smileysad:

Meant to refer to upload speed being higher, not lower.
Sorry can't see a way to edit my post.

@woodmj If a mast in your area is down. There are many variables such as access permission or waiting for parts before it will be fixed. O2 don’t give out timescales so we wouldn’t know how long they will take

They are aware of the fault so will be fixing it as soon as possible.
They don’t want customers struggling for the sake of it.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
