Struggles using phone abroad

I'm in a 'Zone 3' country (Andorra) and trying to use my phone here has a been a nightmare.

One of the big issues has been logging onto the app or website - you get a text with the code to enter but by the time the code arrives it has already expired. It's taken me so many attempts to get in.

The other big problem is that there isn't any way to see how much you are spending on calls. I have injured myself skiing so had to make calls to my travel insurance company, to the airline about the return flight etc. and there isn't any way to see how much you are spending. I have been trying to use WiFi calling but have no idea if that has been successful. Given that you are usually put on hold and calls cost £1 a minute, it is massively important to know.

I have also had a Zone 3 Data Bolt on not work and customer service were useless when I tried to query that, claiming we had fully used it when we definitely hadn't and it was still showing on the app as unused.
