I have an 02 number want to change to an old number used to have and don't know how do that. I need the old number back as the sim got damaged a while ago and asked in shop, they said call ine but that got me nowhere. The number is needed to get back in my facebook account to which it registered, so until can get that sorted or a sim with that number I can't get verification message to unlock my account, it so annoying cant do this and when talked agent he said couldn't be done as need to know last calls etc made on that number. I can't remember when last used as was put away for safe keeping but it got threw away by accident, so now need this one have changed over or a sim with that number to use it if can be done, don't really want to change number again as everybody got the 02 number I'm using now. So if anybody could help sort this out be very grateful for the help ????

The only people who can help you with this is customer service. You need to speak with them, not live chat.

Bear in mind that depending how long since you used the sim it could be inactive as you need to make a chargeable call every 6 months. However they may be able to help and reactivate it for you.

You need to go through to Lost and Stolen and report it lost and request a replacement. If you don't know the last top up or numbers called then tell them you haven't topped up for however many months.

Some people deserve their luck, good or bad. You my friend are a very deserving case in question. If Facebook is the only problem in your life you are very fortunate. Please don't waste advice given in good faith by people with knowledge far in advance of your last post.

You seem to be under the impression that people on here work for O2. We don't, merely customers like yourself. Though trying to help ungrateful childish people, being abusive under the shield of a keyboard, is something we don't need to tolerate. Kindly take yourself off to a network you think deserves your charm and offensive grammar.

Seems incapable of understanding we are customers as well. Charming character. I do hope their abusive comments are removed. Sad really....:smileysad:
