Edited to add there may have been an outstanding balance once you cancelled. This could have been the reason. If you need further info then contact https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

You need to contact customer service as we are all customers here like yourself.
The account has obviously not been closed unless this I is the final bill after closure. Calling them is the only way to find out
