Apple Watch contract

I have a phone and watch contract, if I decide to leave me phone contract because I’ve found a better deal elsewhere, what will happen to my watch as they’re linked to the same account? Will I need to move accounts with that too or is my watch linked to my phone regardless of contract

You have to pay off the watch device plan as well as both are interlinked, then when / if you join a new supplier, you just set it up with them.
