Is it possible to access (more than six month) old bills through the app? I tried asking the chat service but it seems pretty useless.

Yes, up to 2 years should be there, and if you are not yet on the new 360 system, then this should help, @Unhappy-Matt - Guide: How do I get to the 'Download Bill' page?
