I have been trying for a long time to get volt activated on my O2 account, more than a year My O2 account says I'm not eligible.
It is active on my virgin media account and get the benefits. I have tried to contact O2 via chat. However for some reasons the notifications don't work. They come back and ask for my virgin account number, I give it but not quickly enough as they come back with how can we help. I explain my issue including the number and the process starts again. After a couple of days of this I give up.
There was an issue where there was a discrepancy in the addresses, a space in one of the words but I think I have corrected that.
While I'm under my data at the moment this is more urgent since April 23 as I renewed my contract and now have lower data so would like to benefit from the volt boost.

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 using the links below, they should be able to help you with this
or give them a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202

@Cristinao Chat is useless. Speak to customer service.
Call 202 from your mobile or 0344 809 0202, 0800 902 0217 (Payment Management) or 0800 032 1402
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.
You can also reach O2 via social media:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (now X) (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

I have asked about it on calls when I've called about something else but get directed to the App/chat.
I think I was hoping this board might be like the virgin one where it is monitored and someone from virgin can message you when you are struggling to contact them through the usual means.

Thanks for the replies anyway. Looks like I'm destined not to get Volt benefits on the 02 side
