Does someone know what I need to do to get my number cancelled with O2? I signed up for a new contract with O2 since 26th Jan 2025, intending to retain my number and transfer from my network provider to O2. I was sent an O2 SIM card within 2 days, however up till now the SIM has not been activated. After several phone calls, visits to the O2 stores, this issue is still not resolved. I was advised that the order is showing as 'processing' and nothing seems to have worked to activate or cancel my number from O2.

I have complained several times, but O2 has refused to do anything to resolve this issue.

Has anyone experienced this kind of issue at all?

Thanks

Contact O2 on the social media channels.

They are UK based and have a good rep for solving issues.

Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (X)( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Thank you @Oxonian . Unfortunately, the system is not allowing the cancellation as my number is stucked under 'processing'. Never heard of such excuse before. They've apparently tried everything, hence my frustration.

Thank you @MI5 I'll give them a go on Social Media. My experience with O2's Customer Service has not been impressive so far

Good luck but be aware that if you attempt to cancel now you will lose your number.

Priority has to be to regain control of that first.
