Please can someone help me, I currently have an o2 monthly contract (formerly Virgin) but this is in my husband's name. We would like to transfer the ownership to me however when we called o2, we were told this would not be possible. They were unable to offer me a solution and were not able to tell me when or if this would be possible in the future. Please let me know if you have any information on if o2 are working on this issue or how I can transfer the ownership to myself in the meantime. Thank you in advance, most grateful for any information.

Your only option is to sign up to new contract in your name, and pass all credit and affordability checks, and then use this guide to migrate the contract Guide: Migration & porting into O2
Just be aware there are issues with Migrating ex Virgin Numbers, so you may need to port the old number out to a PAYG number on another network, and then porting it back into o2
