When you say "my contract was recently changed", what exactly do you mean @sionisaac ?
If you upgraded, I hope you ticked the box to use your existing sim - otherwise, o2 is sending one to you in the post and the one in your phone has been switched off.
The quickest way to resolve it is visit your local o2 store with photo ID. If that's not possible then you will need to wait for your new sim to arrive.
You can try calling customer services - there are 0800 numbers you can call for free in the guide below, or use Skype.

The contract auto renewed I didnt get the chance to tick or change anything. I just woke up this morning and now my phone will not connect to the network. I know that the contract has been renewed because I received an email this morning saying so. I cannot login in to my o2 as my phone wont receive text messages. This is disgusting service. I need my phone for work and family.

That doesn't sound right but unfortunately we are just customers on the Community and can only point you back to O2 on this

Has a new device or a new sim card been ordered on your account?
As advised you need to contact customer service as a matter of urgency

Almost all contracts don't "auto renew" @sionisaac - consumer contracts have a minimum period, after which they turn into 30 day contracts, meaning you go from month to month, unless YOU sign up to a new deal.
As others say, this sounds VERY dodgy. Get in touch with customer services ASAP - there are 0800 numbers in the guide I posted you can call from a landline, another mobile or using Skype for free.
