How do I retrieve or view a MMS message I sent in May and was charged for? Thank you

Look down your sent messages in your SMS or Messages app, @Jamie65 - it will be there if you have not deleted it.

If it was an unintended MMS, because of length, number of addressees or emoji or URL attachment, then this will help you not be charged in the future: Guide: Accidental MMS Sending and How to Avoid it 

And get your friends or family to use WhatsApp or similar, messages, calls and video all included, using your data allowance (or WiFi). Good luck!
