Can you please tell me why my number has changed when i requested to keep my number on the new pay monthly phone i ordered yesterday. I sent the PAC code details at the same time which was in the morning ?

The phone will come with a temporary number.
You should get a text with the transfer date, if you are moving from another network.
If it is O2 to O2 a PAC is not requred and your number needs migrating
