Keeping migrated virgin phone number with o2

My old virgin number was migrated to o2 a couple of months ago. Last month I got a new phone with an o2 contract & I wish to keep my old migrated virgin (now o2) number. After a call to 202 I was told it would be complete in a few days. That was over 3 weeks ago !!!

After several lengthy & frustrating phone calls I have now been told this is not possible. Why not?????

If my old number is now an o2 number & my new contract has an o2 number where is the problem? Both numbers are issued from the same company. I even gave them the o2 pac code but to no avail.

HELP PLEASE !!!

It cannot be done by PAC code but can be migrated across as per this guide.

Guide: Migration & porting into O2  

Quite frankly porting and migrating numbers seems to be a complete mess at the moment.

Follow the guide and if that fails come back and I'll tag an agent
