I joined o2 not long ago - as a new customer - was with another provider before - wanted to bring my old number with me - followed everything right but it's been over 3 days that my old number has not ported in/swapped - is this normal?

Or should I be ready to loose my old number altogether?

Well, O2 seem extra slow at the moment. They had problems over a week back, but we were assured that was behind us.

When did you request the transfer as nothing happens over the weekends?

We can't do anything from here as customers  you can

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Number ports when setting up a new contract always seem to fail @moonraker

Follow the instructions in this guide - Guide: Migration & porting into O2  - and you should be fine.

You'll know everything went ok when you get a text confirming when the number port will happen.

Any more issues, come back and we can try something else.

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).
