I have an account Sim only with 02 which started with Virgin media transferring their mobile customers to 02. I have become very discontented with Virgin and would like to change my internet provider, will this affect my 02 account in any way ? 

I have not registered for Volt.

You can leave Virgin Broadband but keep your O2 SIM.

Just check your MyO2 to see if you do have Volt as usually it is automatically applied 

Even if you have you will be OK. Although they may reduce your data allowance 

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
