Apple Watch Series 10 - unable to connect Cellular

I am beyond frustrated. I bought an Apple Watch from Apple in mid November and have been trying to activate the cellular function since then. At first it simply scrolled and said network activating. After a month… I called the call centre. They couldn’t fix so told me to go in store. Went in store. Not fixed. So far over 30 hours spent in store or online or on hold in call centres and to no avail. 

at first I got error code 08. Now I have error code 900.

i have been told that I need to reset to factory settings, need to change my debit order, need a mobile plan - which I ask them to add to my account but they can’t. I have been told to contact apple. I have an apple sends me back to O2 because o2 is my mobile provider. The kicker O2 has now on several occasion told me to never buy from Apple and buy from them instead because then it’s easy to connect. What on earth??? And today, the call centre agent, in all seriousness told me my solution - buy a new watch from O2 to replace the one I bought from apple. Please help me!
