Looking for any help regarding transferring my current O2 12 month sim only number (coming to an end) to a different O2 12 month sim only deal. I did order the new sim only deal but had a nightmare trying to transfer my number, the process didn’t seem to have an option to chose this or was asking for sim serial numbers (where’s that?!) Took me 40 mins with O2 before I thought it’s easier to just cancel it and look elsewhere. Has anyone else had this issue or am I missing something? Surely it shouldn’t be this difficult

O2 do seem incapable of porting or migrating numbers without having some issues
If you search the community there are dozens of posts similar to yours.
They normally sort out the problems eventually but some customers have been known to lose their numbers altogether
If you try the social media teams you might get more sense and support from them

The serial number is printed on the sim card or on the packaging the sim came in.
