Just looking for some advice. I am a new o2 customer and just got a new device on a contract. I am returning the device but don’t want to switch from o2 and want to take out a sim only deal. Once my phone has been returned and processed what happens to my number? Does the airtime cancel and the sim will just be a pay and go sim until I sign up to a contact or will
I lose the number and be disconnected?

The sim will be cancelled unless you tell O2 you want to switch to a sim only.
Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
