How can I check if I've got O2 Travel?

Anonymous

I have an iPhone 5 and will be going abroad to work in Europe for six months. Will I have  O2 Travel activated automatically or do I have to ask O2 first? Is there any way I can check if I've got it activated on my phone? I'd be very grateful for any help anyone can give me!

Thank you, I'll check in there! Presumably the best way to use O2 Travel would be to keep data roaming switched off and only put it on whenever you need to use it? Otherwise I could forsee all my apps deciding to update themselves at various times during the day so that I could end up paying an extra £60 per month without realising it?

Yes, that's the safest way. Also seek out any wifi hotspots that you can use.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
