Hi,
If you have a Samsung then usually the phone has the inbuilt option to do that within call or message settings.
You can also download AVG antivirus app from Google Play which will give you the option of blocking individual numbers.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.antivirus
You can ask O2 to change your mobile number which is free for the 1st time.

You're welcome.
Im not sure if this works on your phone but ive seen these solutions on another forum ;
"You can set a number to reject by going to phone, then to logs,tap number. On the bottom left hand corner, tap the list icon, select "add to reject list. That will block the call and keep it from coming to your phone."
"To block someone from texting you by adding him to your blocklist. You will still receive the text but no longer be taken directly to your inbox but rather it is taken to your spam messages. Go to Menu then go to Logs. Then click on the number you want to add to the rejection list. You may also do that on the Contacts."
