I switched up to a new contract in Oct with 6month free airtime, got the 2nd bill today and have been charged for airtime but with only a 25% O2 Open discount and not 100% that I signed up for, why would this be? I can't make sense of it.
I called CS and they said the system has chosen the discount that benefits me more?? Basic math tells me 100% off benefits me more than 25% off.

Doesn't surprise me these days at all.

Out of interest @Paul820
How much is your airtime bill and over how long?

You can't have both discounts its one or the other on the 6months free airtime, from what I recall reading, think it was a thread on here, or was somewhere else..

It's supposed to be free for 6month but I have been charged 29.99 minus a 7.50 discount. This is the first full month's bill for this contract so only just noticed it.

I can't understand why the O2 open is on there though, it was on my previous contract before switching up.

Over 24 months that works out at £539 either way, so you are no better or worse off whichever discount you get. If your contract is over 36 months, you are saving loads more by having the 25% off monthly.
