I have just transferred from TalkTalk and I am now using the sim card, that O2 have sent me, in my existing 4G phone. If I put that same sim card into a 5G phone will I be able to connect to O2 5G (where it exists) at no extra cost and without needing a new sim card?

@DaveR

You need a 5g sim to get 5g.

If your existing sim is less than 1 year old it should be a 5g sim, so yes, you can use it to get 5g in a 5g area.

There is no extra charge for 5g.
