When I ordered my sim to change network to o2 I quoted my Pac no with order, as wanted to keep old number. Sim arrived with new tel number.  Went online and put my Pac no in on thursday 11/3. Still on temp no. Have switched phone on and off repeatedly. How to sort ?

@Gk62

You'll need to call customer service.
Numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.

Although nothing will happen over the weekend and ports take 24 hours to action and a further 23 hours to complete. So a request made on Thursday wouldn't happen until the following Monday.

If you didn't receive a text back with a changeover date, it means it hasn't been received by O2.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
