12gb extra free monthly data not working

I upgraded my phone on the 29th March with 4gb and it came with 12gb of extra data every month. Got a trxt msg that day telling me its active.
I was then billed on the 2nd April. Now my phone is telling me I've run out of data. Under the phone settings it tells me I only have 4gb of data and it's run out. When I log onto my o2 it says I have 12gb left. How on earth do I activate this and make my phone register the additional data?

If it's not working in the morning call customer services on 202.
If you call early around 8 to 8.30 there shouldn't be a long wait.

It kicks in automatically but you still get the 4gb warning as the extra is a bonus https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-Pay-and-Go/Where-is-my-discount/bc-p/1075494

Thanks but my mobile data isn't working at all. If I turn off the WiFi and just have mobile data nothing works or loads up.
Is there a time period between it kicking in? It was working this morning, the 4gb ran out this afternoon and I haven't been able to use mobile data since

Yeah tried that twice. Turned the data off and on same with flight mode icon but still hasn't kicked in 🤔
