This is EXTRA annoying. MY NUMBER IS *********** AND I I JUST WANT TO SWITCH TO PAY AS YOU GO. I am out of the country for a year and I wan to switch, I was on call for over 1 hour wiht customer care today just to be told I have to order a pay as you go sim online to which in order to LOG IN AGAIN online, I have to put on my phone and BE CHARGED AGAIN, only for me not get a text another dead end again

Nothing done another month of getting CHARGED even though I am not in the country , also charged for putting on the phone.

Yes, you need a PAYG SIM first. This will only be delivered to a UK address

Once that is activated you can then migrate your contract number across which will close that account.

Guide: Migration & porting into O2

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@tomifalore

You'll need a PAYG sim which will onlt be posted to a UK address.

I fail to see how this problem of your own making is now something to berate O2 over.

JYou will also be charged an early termination fee if you do get to do it and your contract hasn'tr reached it's minimum term yet.

You may also find that you can use your contract abroad for a lot less than a PAYG sim.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
