Confused - £20 Big Bundle

I set up an account on my wife's old phone in my name, though for my son. All I required is to top up it up as and when he needs it on PAYE SIM. So I did with £10 on my credit card. Im a little concerned as it popped up you are now on personal a £20 Big Bundle account. I don't want to pay this as he is only 10 and its more than my tariff. He only needs to message his friends and perhaps download the odd game. How can I check whether Im not going to deducted £20 every month?

Big bundles have to be topped up every month

It makes more sense to get a cheap contract or change to Tesco or giffgaff where you can get a tariff that you only top up when necessary
