Hi, my first time in Europe with o2 but only found out I cannot receive texts when trying to make a payment which required me to add a code from a text which wasn't received. How do I fix this as I am going away in the next month and don't want the same issue. I switched to o2 so I could use my phone in Europe and it seems I can't. I also had a voice mail for a call I never received from my doctors when I am in the UK,no notification of a voice mail while abroad. Not impressed with this service not as advertised

Have you tried a new sim. Go instore with ID and get them to swap it over. Use a plastic sim not an esim. If that doesn't work :
You need to contact O2. Try the social media team first. They are UK based and are fine at problem solving

Try Changing networks when abroad. A good percentage of this type of problem is down to the host carrier
