Anything we can help with?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Talktalk transferred our 2 numbers to O2 with no options.

We were on a £5/month, 300 minutes option

O2 has increase our 'charges' by 20% for no reason other than they could!

OK, it's only another £4/month, which is not a lot for some people, hoewever, we are both pensioners and carry the phones for emergencies, not to increase the profits of yet another foreign company!

Firstly, talktalk did this as they shut down their mobile operator network therefore they handed the contract of customer mobile to a new carrier. Secondly O2 would have put it on their closest possible plan to what you previously had in your allowance, if that is an increase in cost then if the transfer has just happened and customer service do not help then I'd suggest requesting a PAC code and to speak to retention and see what they can do. Thirdly O2 is not a foreign company as you put it, it is owned by a Spanish multinational company company by the name of Telefonica and operated separately as such.
Kindest Regards,
Andrew.

You have posted about this in a seperate thread HERE
